Crab Free Day

No, I’m not talking about crabs in your underpants. lol.  I’m referring to crabs in the barrel.

Since my mother passed my outlook on life has changed dramatically.  I just dont have the time, patience, nor inclination to be surrounded by negativity all the damn time.  Personal opinions, haters, gossip, scorn, judgement, the insecure looking to be secure, etc., etc.

I am giving myself a drama free, negatvity free, crab free day…and I deserve it. Damn it.

I’m not answering my phone or emails, i’m not reading any group messages on all those damn groups I’m on with other authors–which I plan to thin the hell out with a quickness.  I am giving myself the day off from the bullshit.

So…

To my fellow romance authors sitting on pedestals judging urban fiction/street lit–when most of the literary world considers romance fiction to be trash (of course I don’t agree because I am romance writer myself but my point is judge not lest ye be judged…)

To those calling me with gossip or just bad damn news (this one is for family and friends)…

To those having too much fun writing bad and derogatory reviews or message board comments (not even in relation to me or my books but its still a downer)…

To those who believe it is necessary to give their opinions on everything all the damn time (trust me, sometimes nobody cares)…

To those who hate on the writing style of other writers (i.e. she/he/it/they only sell because she/he/it/they writes sexy, etc)…

To those who live their life constantly judging others (a ploy to make themselves feel better)…

To those who can only live life if they are on a “level” above another person or group…

To those who just have nothing good to say none of the damn time…

“Don’t nobody bring me no bad news”.  Not today.  For real.

If this offends you then this may refer to you. Check yourself…before you wreck yourself. Negativity doesn’t help the one giving it or receiving it.

And now to lighten the mood because this is after all my stress free day…
