All About Me :-)

| Ever since I was a little girl I used to love to read.  I wouldn’t be surprised at all to find out that I Image Hosting by PictureTrail.comcame out the womb with a book in my little hands.  As you can see, even in one of my first pictures I’m reading and looking too cute in my knee socks and dress (thankyouverymuch).  As far as the second or third grade I remember writing horror short stories (heads chopped off, bodies burned, ghosts busy at work) and sharing them with my classmates.  To hell with math and history and all those other important subjects my poor teachers tried to drill into my head, I was busy sneaking and writing stories instead of taking notes. (That’s during the time my Mama had me sporting that mean three piece suit with airplane collars.  Shoot, y’all know I was fierce…for the seventies. Ow!).  But I digress.  I had other dreams…fashion designer, cartoonist, dancer, stylist, professional cake spoon licker, Michael Jackson fan club president, etc., etc., but it was story telling that remained with me (Thank God).  I had my mind on writing and writing on my mind.

Image Hosting by PictureTrail.com | With my foray into many genres I definitely consider myself chameleon of the written word. I write both steamy romance and gritty mainstream as Niobia Bryant, erotica as Niobia Simone, and urban fiction/mainstream as Meesha Mink.  Guess what? Young adult fiction is up next. My new Pace Academy/ Pacesetters series is on the way in 2010 under the psuedonym of Simone Bryant.  That’s four genres, three different publishers, and one crazy ass writer.(Am I crazy? Nope. Just young and living life to the fullest while I have the time and the energy to do it.  Life is too short to be constrained.) Besides, busy means blessed as far as I’m concerned…especially since I now write full time.  (Yes I spend all day in PJs if I want.) So I’m either in Jersey or South Carolina writing and living life. I love to cook, talk MAD ish, crack odd ball jokes–I will say anything to make someone laugh–or spend time with my loved ones. I just love whupping behind at pitty-pat and whist.  I’m not married, but I’m officially off the market. (Ain’t love grand-smile).

So I thank you all for helping this little ghetto girl from Newark, NJ make her dreams come too. Hopefully I am an inspiration for other little ghetto girls who believe their dreams are not reachable.

To leave me a comment or question, please use my all new digital guestbook.  You can drop a line or load a pic or even load a vid to holla at your girl.  I read them all, even if I can’t answer them all.  I love ya’ll.
